As Multimedia Content Producer at Visit Orlando, our team worked within the tourism industry to promote travel destinations for members such as Walt Disney World Resorts, Universal Studios, and Sea World theme parks new announcement to encourage ticket sales and hotel bookings.

Assisted the Public Relations department with blog writing. Main responsibilities was to provide visual assets from video, photography, and graphic design skills for multiple departments throughout the company from media events for original content.

Supported the Content Manager in developing social media content calendars by contributing topic ideas and strategies. Utilized asset management tools to efficiently organize and distribute resources for social media channels, both during live events and for future posts, to highlight and promote key tourism destinations.

Event Photography

At Visit Orlando, I served as a Multimedia Content Producer, creating digital graphics for marketing and social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Snap Chat.

One of the most demanding yet rewarding projects I worked on was during the Pulse Nightclub tragedy in downtown Orlando in 2017. This heartbreaking event caused widespread social media panic, leading to hotel cancellations and concerns over Orlando's safety as a destination. Through social listening, we noticed a surge in misconceptions, such as the belief that Disney was located in downtown Orlando, further hurting the region’s image. Central Florida’s economy heavily depends on tax revenues from hotel bookings, so this was a critical challenge for both Visit Orlando and our members, including local theme parks.

In response, I pitched the “Love Orlando” campaign concept, inspired by the global outpouring of support for our community. The campaign sought to harness and reflect that positivity to return it with a message of hope and resilience, reminding the world why Orlando is so beloved. The Love Orlando campaign proved to be a resounding success. Despite the crisis and negative online commentary, we achieved a remarkable milestone: visitation increased by one million visitors. It was a testament to the power of community, thoughtful marketing, and turning adversity into opportunity.

Demo Reel

I leveraged live streaming and media event photography as innovative tools to create disruptive social media content. By broadcasting live events on social platforms, I challenged conventional marketing norms, delivering real-time, immersive experiences that fostered deeper audience engagement. Through original event photography, I captured compelling visuals that highlighted brand priorities in fresh and unexpected ways. These strategies not only embraced new technologies but also reimagined traditional approaches, crafting bold content that stood out, built audiences, and sparked meaningful connections.

The work showcased in my demo reel is from 2014 - 2017. This work reflects my skills in creating original content using video and photography production knowledge in fast-paced production environments for Visit Orlando, freelance, and volunteering.
